Too grindy and cost too much to lvl

10k gems to get to lv2 zzzzz. Have to pay $$$ to get x10 gem unlock. Game too grindy and gameplay not that fun tbh.
I enjoyed snake back in the day and this game is ok but its just not snake.
And for what it is its not that fun cause all the heroes and upgrades are locked behind grindy gameplay.
